Bloomington Theatre and Art Center (BTAC) is dedicated to providing the highest level of privacy for your personal information as possible. We provide you with this notice explaining our information collection and privacy policies.
Website Security
When ordering tickets or registering for classes online you are asked to provide personal information. This website (www.bloomingtoncivictheatre.org) is secure and uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) during the ticket ordering process. The website and its security have been validated and authenticated by GeoTrust. The trust logo at the bottom of a secure web page verifies the security of that page. The security certificate can be viewed by clicking on the trust logo. Information gathered on this website is gathered by Turnkey’s SunShop Shopping Cart program. No information about you is gathered other than what you provide in the online purchasing process or when completing other forms that you submit through this website. This website does not use cookies to gather information or track usage.
Personal Information Online
When ordering tickets or registering for classes, the information you are asked to provide is necessary for the processing of your order. Your credit card information is not maintained online. Once your order has been retrieved and processed by our customer service staff, your credit card information is removed from the secure database.
Personal Information Online and by Phone

Patrons purchasing tickets and registering for classes are automatically added to BTAC’s database and will receive information by mail regarding our theatre productions, classes, and related events. Patrons transacting business with us online will also be added to our email list and will receive occasional emails about our productions, classes, and related topics. If you would like to opt out of the mail or email list please note this in the order comments section or call the customer service line at 952-563-8575. Once you have opted out of these lists you will permanently be removed from the email list but will be added to the mailing list each time you purchase tickets or register for a class.
BTAC does not sell, rent, or lease its mail or email list to third parties. BTAC may, however, share data including your name, e-mail address, mailing address, and telephone number (your “Contact Information”) with trusted vendors with whom we contract to help us send you email or postal mail, perform statistical analysis, or provide customer support. All such vendors are prohibited from using your Contact Information except to provide these services to BTAC, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your Contact Information.
In addition, BTAC may from time to time provide third party vendors with your Contact Information at the request of partner nonprofit arts organizations who wish to make you aware of a particular arts offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your Contact Information is never transferred to the partnering arts organization, and the third party vendor is prohibited from using your Contact Information except for the purpose stated above. The third party vendor is also required to maintain the confidentiality of your Contact Information. If you wish to opt out of any list we provide to third party vendors at the request of partner nonprofit arts organizations, please call our customer service line at 952-563-8575 or email info@bloomingtoncivictheatre.org.
Email
Email messages sent to email contacts on this website are sometimes sent to the general info email account and are then forwarded to the intended person by a BTAC staff member. The email address will be indicated after clicking the link. If you would like to contact someone directly but find that his or her email link is directed toward the info account, please call the BTAC office at 952-563-8575 to arrange to get your message delivered directly.
Please do not send personal information such as credit card information to BTAC in an email. Emails are not secure. Our online ticket and registration process is a secure way to complete these transactions.
Ticket Sales: All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
Season TIckets: Season ticket holders may exchange tickets for another performance of the same show (subject to availability). Exchanges must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled performance.
Class Registrations: If you cancel your registration, we will refund your tuition (less a $15 administration fee and less any related discount for multiple registrations) provided you cancel 5 or more business days prior to the start of the class. Cancellation after that time will not be eligible for a refund. Membership fees are not refundable.
Class fees cannot be prorated for missed classes or late registrations.
Gift Shop: Purchases from our gift shop can be returned or exchanged within seven days from the date of purchase.The original receipt must caccompany the return.
If you selected to receive Print-At-Home tickets via email. They will be delivered in a separate email from boxoffice@bloomingtoncivictheatre.org after the order is processed by our box office. Since this process is not automated, delivery of your tickets can take as much as 24-hours.
If you selected to have your tickets mailed, they will be mailed on the next business day.
Will call tickets can be picked up at the will call desk beginning one hour prior to the performance.
